kitchen

This past weekend Joel and I remodeled the kitchen slightly. It was mostly whites and pale yellows. I'm not able to find a before picture but below is what it looks like after the makeover. We painted the cabinets, new hardware, painted the walls, new light fixtures. It completely changed the feel and look of the kitchen. I love it!!

It started snowing this morning for quite awhile then it stopped and picked back up again after lunch. So after Joel got home we bundled Josiah up in a snow suit and hat to take some pictures.

the doctor

Today Josiah went to the doctor for his four month checkup. He weighs 14 pounds 6 ounces and is 24 inches long. He is in the 25th percentile for growth and is doing great. We had to wait quite awhile for the doctor to come in so he just hung out in his diaper and played with the paper on the table. He was talking up a storm and moving around like crazy. Here is a picture of him waiting on the doctor.

Aubrey came over this afternoon and hung out with Josiah. They were laying on the living room floor playing with some toys and talking to each other. I ran downstairs to grab the camera and when I returned Josiah had grabbed Aubrey's hand and they were both smiling. Hmm...it may be a bit too early for hand holding with a girl, but we'll let it slide this time. Josiah - - - you've got to watch out for those pastors daughters.
